    You need a splitter vga or hdmi cable. It is not expensive. It cost no more than $10-15.

    You hook male end of the cable to on the laptop and the female end to the second monitor. You can go into your control panel of Mac and select to extend the monitor as either a primary or secondary monitor.

    Oh yeah, you just mean like a monitor? It’s pretty simple. You might have to get an adapter cable of some sort, depending on the monitor and your laptop. This is how we have our set up at my office, we all have Mac laptops with external monitors.

    Yes. I had the older 2012 MacBook that I used with an external monitor. External monitorrs arent OS specific.
