When you apply to Yale or Harvard through the LSAC website. They want you to disclose if you have taken the GRE as well as the LSAT. Is that like a mandatory requirement? Why do we have to disclose this information?

Do they have a way of finding out if you have taken the GRE if you don't disclose that you have? Or is that voluntary admission they want us to do?

Not an expert, but I think it's in the instructions because these schools decided to accept both the LSAT and GRE so it would follow that they would track both scores if someone had taken both tests. However, if it's been over 5 years since a test date, then from what I've read, both test scores are no longer released and then it would likely just be listing the date the test was taken, but I'd contact admissions if something isn't covered by the instructions and you still have questions.
