The argument commits the flaw of conflating absolute numbers with percentages/probabilities. A higher number of accidents could be caused by righties due to the fact that there are more righties in the population, but this doesn't disprove that lefties are more prone/probable to cause injuries. This is because a smaller total number of injuries over a much smaller group may ultimately be a higher percentage!
This is why B is correct. The argument doesn't take into account the relative sizes of the groups.
