I never PT'd while I was sick, but I did it burned out a few times. What I find is that even a marginal drop in mental presence and clarity is devastating to my score.
Yeah, don't do it. It wastes a PT, wipes out your endurance, and has the potential to freak you out when you almost inevitably underperform. The test I took when I was sick gave me no indication of what I knew or how I did because of that factor.

well said. I felt mentally sick(fatigue) when I did some of my PTs and they always get me lower scores, which destroyed my confidence.
